About A Handyman

David Hughes, Handyman

David Hughes

Before I established my handyman business, I began my first job in construction at 14 years old, doing clean up and slowly worked my way up to foreman / lead carpenter. I have worked for large scale outfits, working hand-in-hand with the boss, learning all the tricks of the trade.

When I was 25, I worked for a commercial construction outfit for 10 years. For the last 10 years, I’ve worked for myself, as a carpenter and handyman, utilizing word of mouth references, without any advertising.

I’ve learned how to work quickly on projects, without compromising quality, and my number one goal is customer satisfaction.

I’ve also discovered that I can be really good at doing almost anything, but if the tools I use for a project are not up to par, the job won’t get done properly with the quality that is required. It’s very important to use the proper tool for the job. If I don’t have the appropriate tool for a new project, I buy it. I also keep my tools sharp and in good repair to insure clean, quality cuts, and proper functionality.

As a handyman, it’s important for me to provide my customers with value, professionalism and just plain hard work. As a local resident, I take pride in my family and the community in which I live. I take pride in my work, too!

I want to be the guy that you and your friends call for any of your home maintenance or improvement needs.

Don’t pay more for less, pay less and get more!
